Launch Maps
The six official launch maps, now paired with source-backed terrain cues so you can choose the right map brief before a match.
The official Launch Maps announcement lists six battlefields and describes their environments: river crossings, jungle, villages, waterways, open ground, airfields and industrial docks. Use the linked map briefs to recognize the terrain problem in front of your squad; do not read an environment summary as a fixed route or guaranteed rotation.
Quick facts
- Launch map count
- 6
- Profile source
- Official Launch Maps announcement
- Player use
- Identify terrain, mode and objective before choosing a route
Do this in order
Choose a map from the roster
Open the map-specific brief that matches the name shown in the server or deployment screen.
Success signal: You are reading the correct battlefield profile instead of guessing from a similar map name.
Read the terrain cue
Use the official environment summary to identify whether the next problem is a crossing, close terrain, open ground, an airfield or an industrial/water space.
Success signal: You can ask the squad a concrete terrain question before moving.
Combine terrain with the mode
Check Game Modes and the active objective before choosing a route; the same environment can demand a different decision in Warfare, Offensive, Conquest or Domination.
Success signal: Your map choice and route question match the current win condition.
Record only reusable observations
If you note a route, sightline or role example, save the build, mode, objective and timestamp before sharing it.
Success signal: A later reader can distinguish a player example from an official map fact.
Six official map profiles
Each linked page now starts with the terrain and historical context that the official Launch Maps brief supports. The cue is there to improve the first squad question, not to replace the live tactical map.
- Thanh Hóa Bridge — Nam Ma River crossings, jungle and mountain terrain, villages and trainyards.
- Huế Outskirts — mountain terrain, terraced farms, dense jungle, waterways, bases and industrial areas.
- Vạn Tường — small villages, dense jungle, river network and bankside foliage.
- Quảng Ngãi — flooding, cliffs and caves, bamboo forests, open lowlands and cross-river spaces.
- Đắk Tô Airfield — a long airstrip, open surroundings, craters and nearby hilltop fortifications.
- Cam Ranh Port — military compounds, industrial docks, dunes, creek beds and a southern waterway.
Choose the right map question
Start with the environment the official brief names, then combine it with the current mode and objective. Ask whether the next problem is a crossing, close terrain, open ground, a defended base or a dock/water route. This is more useful than choosing a class or route from the map name alone.
- Open the map-specific page before the match if you need the historical and terrain context.
- Use the in-game tactical map and squad call to decide the actual route.
- Record build, mode and objective before treating a route or strongpoint observation as reusable.
What remains unverified
The official map brief does not establish a universal sector order, best class, vehicle lane, cover pattern or capture route. Those claims need direct current-build evidence and must remain separate from the terrain profile.
